Just got the Gnight text from Kristi. Shes staying with Megan during this first night. We were told her physical therapy is going to hit hard first thing in the morning ... 8 am, sharp. So, keep Megan in your thoughts as she undergoes painful and extensive therapy. Shes going to need support from all of us more than ever in the coming days. Still ... it beats the alternative. Anyways ... I picked Tristen up from my mom ... read to him and got him to his own bed -- he was excited that he got to sleep in his own bed again. Cleaned out the fridge of anything that would put ME in the hospital if I were to ingest any of it. Piled the dishes in the sink -- Ill take care of those tomorrow. Removed the dirty clothes that got hurriedly shoved into pockets of the duffel bag -- Ill wash those tomorrow. Got to put the clothes away that my mom washed and folded -- Ill do that tomorrow. Cleared off the bed of all items that were tossed on to it when packing in a hurry. Just made piles in the floor -- Ill deal with them tomorrow. I get to sleep in my own bed ... use my own air conditioner ... brush my teeth in my own faucet ... and try and comfort a faithful Sadie who wont leave my side. Its almost Home, Sweet Home ... not quite there -- Tristen & I have one to two more nights without Kristi. But, its close enough. And, close enough will do for now. Good night, everyone.
