Just got this: Information has just reached me that men from Tactical Air Command TAC, Makurdi, were yesterday arrested at about 2am around the Wadata/Lower Benue River Basin area. According to information available to us, they are alleged to have used a military boat from Airforce base area to Wadata but when the men in the boat alighted, some one tipped men of the Operation Zenda and they were accosted. They confessed that the base commandant sent them to escort fulani men out of the Area. The PPRO in Benue has however confirmed the incidence but with a slight modification. He claims the fulani herdsmen ran to the Airforce base for cover and Airforce handed them to the police. One may ask, why Wadata?. Why not Police command HQ in Makurdi?. The names of the arrested officers are; WO Umar A WO Abubarka B Flying Sergeant Adamu A Please help to circulate this information to avoid any cover ups from both the Airforce and the Police.
