Just got this message from a friend - any ideas what could be causing this aggression from this kitten? Hey Denise....I have a question...not sure if you will know the answer...im pretty sure this is not normal....Ive had lots of cats and never have had this problem. My son and his girlfriend git an 8 wk old kitten 6 months ago.as a small kitten it was very bitey it was not feral and other than the biting it was very sweet. In the past few months the cat has been biting Samantha. Yesterday...she was holding him and he seemed very content ( she has held and carried him alot since they got him) was even purring...then out of nowhere he bites her in the face! She was standing talking to me and I wtnessed it....they tell me that he will be sitting on the couch or floor and will stare Samantha down and then lunge at her and bite or scratch her! Shes starting to be afraid of him. Theyve done the water bottle thing and loud noises but he is continuing the behavior. He does not seem to have an issue with my son....any ideas whats up???
