Just had a great visit with one of my UAC kids up in the small, rural, mountain town of Palo Verde. After a 2.5 hour ride in the back of a pick-up truck, in the rain, starting at 4 am I walked 30 min and got to his house at 7 am. We ate breakfast, he taught 2 community members how to use a computer (It was their first times ever using a computer!!!), and then we had some lunch and chatted. What a wonderfully inspiring visit with a supportive family. He will go far!
