Just had a memory return... When I was 14 I was bicycling to Montreal on an outing with the YMCA of Hopkington and was in Montpelier, VT. We kids were all eating pizza and I was holding my copy of Breakfast of Champions that I had been reading in a park. There was a fellow there who was dressed as Jesus may have been, if he had chosen to hang out in downtown Montpelier that fine summer day, in a long flowing white tunic type of thing and a headband. He advised us that we were holding cows souls in bondage by eating the cheese. I had him sign my book. Dont know what happened to that copy....
