Just had one of those moments. All was calm, the boys were happily playing, I was happily painting. Attempting to squeeze some lemon yellow from the tube, nothing comes out. I give it another squeeze. Paint shots out all over my top, my trousers, the curtain and the window behind me. I dash to the bathroom, strip and chuck clothes into the bath. In my haste I break the plug chain. I grab some fresh clothes then head back downstairs to grab the curtain. Eldest has now stripped and joined my clothes in the bath. I remove eldest. Lob in curtain and start scrubbing. Finished I go downstairs only to find that youngest has been finger painting with the paint on the window, hes covered head to toe in yellow paint .... the window will never be the same again Im sure. I carefully pick up youngest go back upstairs. Remove clothes and curtains from the bath, put youngest in. Eldest has poured the body wash on the floor. Then I realise dinner is on the hob!
