Just had the scare of the week. Let the dogs out on their runners. Figured they could sit on the porch while I clean. I am in the middle of doing dishes I hear Sage freaking out. I peek out the window and see a fire truck slowing down so I went to the door to see if they were stopping at a house near me. Then out of the corner of my eye I see movement by the street. I look and was like Oh! Its a dog! It is a light dog like Toby! Wait! It IS Toby!!! I am trying to run in flip flops and calling his name all cute like. He looks and keeps running. Lucky he headed up the hill to Aunties house. He kept going past her house when he saw she wasnt out and kept going up the hill. Lucky my dog is social and there was a couple out smoking. They caught him for me. I thanked them profusely and went to pick him up and got a great pain in my side. I figured this was it. He gave me a heart attack literally. I had to go and borrow a leash b/c there was no way I could carry him home. Now I need a dye job for the white stripes in my hair. Just a quick rest while I calm myself down.
