Just happened a few minutes ago in Watts.. Lions arent afraid of pigs. Thats what I said to the crooked cop after he asked me if I was nervous. I stepped out my house to walk to the Watts Library down the street. Im walking up Success St. towards Century Blvd. with 4 books in my hands and I dont even look suspect of nothing. The sheriff pulls along side of me and asks me where am I going? Im not even surprised, I just flatly said, Whats this the 18th century? Dude if you dont leave me alone and go fight some crime spider-man. He laughed sarcastically. What are you nervous? I was just tryna start a conversation. This is LAPDs South-easts division patrol area and youre a sheriff deputy driving around here looking to start conversations with random people? You must have a lot of time on your hands. Lions arent afraid of pigs dude. I see youre having a bad day so Im going to ignore your verbal assault on a peace officer, get that stick out your ass man. He makes a wild U-turn and drives off. What he really meant is, if I do arrest you for verbal assault on a peace officer, I have no probable cause to put on the police report. I think a lot of these white officers choose to patrol black neighborhoods because the ignorance is abundant here, people dont know their rights making it easier for cops to fulfill arrest quotas. And the cop was right to suggest if I were nervous because most blacks would have been.
