Just have to get this out....theres an advert on telly every day and night promoting Gala Bingo (and many more gambling sites ) showing 4 happy people smiling their heads off winning a few quid (God knows what they have donated towards the site prior to their very small win).... Anyway what they fail to show are the faces of the thousands more online bingo punters who have just lost their monthly wages ,spent their rent or mortgage, are in the process of losing their homes or unfortunately the poor faceless people who have taken their own lifes (this does happen!!! ) due to financial ruin because of this constant promotion of gambling online adverts. IF PEOPLE WANT TO GAMBLE THEN THAT IS THEIR OWN CHOICE, but beware the pitfalls of placing money online as it feels like dummy money but can soon add up to your demise !! I do speak from an experience many many years ago when in my darkest moments I turned to online gambling as an escape from myself. Sorry about going on about this but these adverts should be banned as they did with cigarette adverts because similarly gambling is a major factor of ill health as with any addiction.Here ends my rant :-)
