Just heard Tom Cruise admit on tv that a Top Gun sequel is in the works. Theyre just trying to hammer out a story line. Personally I think it should go like this. After Goose died, Maverick, who was in agony over his death, got comfort in gooses widows bed. He knocks her up. Fast forward 28 years later. Goose Jr, played by Ryan Gosling, is now heading to Top Gun school just as his father did. He buzzes the tower, makes a kill below the hard deck (which is not allowed), and plays a last minute volleyball game before leaving cause hes late for a date. His Top Gun instructor, played by Demi Moore, is cooking him dinner. Goose Jr has a thing for cougars. Plus she was smokin hot in G.I Jane. Long story short, he gets called up last minute by Iceman (still played by Val Kilmer) to fly into the Danger Zone (insert Kenny Loggins only awesome hit here). He flies to Russia and gets in a dog fight with Vladimir Putin. Turns out Goose Jrs mom is from Ukraine. I havent really hammered out the dialogue yet but all those who watched Top Gun as many times as I have, at least 40 or more, can appreciate a good sequel. The End Id like to thank the Academy.....
