Just heard about the sad demise of Mukul Sinha- a sad day for Human Rights discourse in this country. Though I have met him only a couple of times, I have interacted with him a number of times - often with serious differences of opinion on issues ranging from strategy to ideology - but despite that and me being pompous and far junior to him - he has always listened and treated me with respect and patience.
