Just heard of the passing of Vinnie Short an old friend from way - TopicsExpress

Just heard of the passing of Vinnie Short an old friend from way back when in the folk days in Manchester. I last played with him in the Jolly Angler several months back. He was a gentle, kind and caring man; a probation officer for much of his life, a fine bodrhan player and a great singer with a lovely light tenor voice. He was much respected in the Irish community in Manchester and loved by all who knew him. Sleep well old friend.
