Just heard this song for a second time just now. What is your opinion? What does this song say to you? Is it about living like life is a Party and always being ready for a stiff drink? Or is it about ones escape from the pain of heartache, of not being heard or seen and therefore using a multitude of actions to mask the pain. Therefore by utilizing various disraction, one is abe to have a cotinued existence despite the ever present pain since nothing else will take it away. Is that it ? Is the Chandelier merely a symbolic metaphor for the pain that is always glimmering and incandescent, or is it merely a fixture with prisms of glass and light? I was just having a music discussion with my friend about this song and proposed I would open it up for others interpretation on FB. Lol This is a great song. Enjoy.
