Just imagine: you have a bicycle accident, you go to the hospital and while waiting, you check your messages on the phone. Suddenly a policeman comes to you, ask you to show him your mobile phone and…. few minutes later you are arrested and bitten. Than you go to prison, they continue to bit you and they finally charge you with a crime you never committed. They live you in prison for two years without a trial. Finally, after two years, when the trial comes to the end, the verdict says its true you were not at the crime scene at the time when the crime was committed, but… still they decide you should spend some more time in prison. After almost three years in prison you go out provisionally, your appeal is on the way, but things are going worst… you commit suicide…. This is not just an exercise of imagination, its a real case that happened in Barcelona. Her name was Patricia and the only crime she committed, was to look suspicious according to our social standards. Patricia is not the only victim in this case - in this documentary you can follow all the story, its really strong to see that things like this happens in Europe, in so called democratic country. It shows that as a citizen you have literally no protection at all.
