Just in a blink of an eye I was walking around my neighborhood in labor worried that I wouldnt know how to be a mother. How would I raise this little baby girl. I desperately wanted her and needed her but I was in denial that I was capable. Just in a blink of an eye she was here. She would be so many things for me. My best friend. My partner. I struggled with her and she had no idea we struggled. She always had a smile on her face and a silly laugh. Im so very proud of the young woman she has become. I was terrified I wouldnt know how to be the example she needed. In a blink of an eye we would have a wonderful man come into our lives as if he were here to save the day. He has been a father to her since she was 5 years old. Provided guidance, advice, support, and discipline and he is a big part why she has turned into the person she is today. She graduates in a week. It really has been a blink of an eye. I love you Lana B! And Im so happy Dad came into our lives!! Proud mommy!!! XO
