Just in case people forget, which they so easily do: Every rocket Hamas sends into Israel represents a quadruple war crime. And the State of Israel has EVERY right, granted by international law and the UN Charter to defend itself, and do what is necessary to STOP these rockets. 1. Anti personal bombs sent to kill civilians. 2. Rockets sent from behind human shields. 3. Rockets sent for the purpose of destroying a nation state of the United Nations. 4. Rockets sent in violation of Charter Art. 51 enabling self defense. Every dead is a terrible loss. And regardless of the protective measures Israel tries — by calling people in Gaza ahead of an attack, sending SMS, „roof knocking“, dropping leaflets etc. — people die. I so much wish, it wasn’t the case. I equally wish, that the Palestinian people would finally wake up and stop allowing these terrorists and criminals to take them hostage, infiltrate their culture of hate and destruction into the coming generations. They are the source of the evil we face, putting innocent civilians INTENTIONALLY in the line of fire. This is no longer a matter of opinion, as people love to claim when it comes to discussions about Israel. However, whoever denies these facts or-and blends them out, wishes to do so, for motives I will not discuss at this point.
