Just in case you missed this yesterday - Rerun of my newsletter minus the links - From the eye of my email - Heres the bomb! Thank you for all of the kind comments and pms. The adventures have begun. Although this old house never sways in the wind and I am snug as a bug in a rug the drafts of this newsletter keep getting blown away. Third times trying time so here I go again. Someone famous once said if you want to change your life you have to change what you are doing. I took the advice to heart. Living in Brooklyn for 58 years has usually been comfortable and definitely familiar but it has not been a viable place to operate a business in a manner I enjoy. Late last fall I began exploring the options of employment - first in Nova Scotia, second in the west and lastly up North. Barring an unexpected windfall or extenuating circumstance I will be moving to Kimmirut around the first of May. For the next couple of years my commute to work will be ice cleats on my boots. I have accepted employment with the Northwest Company as a Department Manager. There is much to be done in preparation for this adventure. I fully intend to continue my work with the healing arts. As time permits, I will be available for sessions up until April 26th. If you have been contemplating a tune-up it would be a good idea to book your appointment now as slots will fill up quickly. I am teaching Reiki Level I on Tuesday, April 15th - Two class options - 11AM to 4PM and 5PM to 9PM ---------Reiki Level II April 19th - 9AM to 3PM and 4PM to 10PM. Contact me for more details. Those wishing to take a refresher are welcome. Once I am settled in the North I will be offering distance Reiki and telephone/Google hangout readings and ThetaHealing sessions. I am looking forward to quietly introducing my healing methods to the community of Kimmirut and learning their traditions as I reconnect with Spirit. In addition to everything else, I can hardly contain my enthusiasm as I present to you a once in a lifetime opportunity. If this opportunity sparks your interest please contact me. Packing started in earnest when I began decorating for Christmas and is now part of my daily routine. As most of you know, in addition to Flap Your Wings, I have operated a costume business for about ten years and a thorn in some sides nostalgia business for the past couple of years. Add to the mix my parents belongings and the residue from several other ventures. You can only imagine the things I have to dispose of. Plus there are two properties to sell and another to find to move my stuff into, If any of you know of a house that is roof tight, preferably on four plus acres of land, $100,000 or less to buy and available immediately please let me know. I will renovate when I return to Nova Scotia! I will also consider renting a warehouse for a reasonable price or building as long as it can be secured and does not leak. To make the moving process less cumbersome and to increase exposure to my two properties for sale I am having a Realtor hosted Open House and Sale this coming Sunday. Visit the Facebook page Glorias Moving Sale to get an idea of the scope of the items being offered. (Most of my local peeps are heading south this weekend so please be patient if I seem rattled!) You might have to climb over a snow bank to get in but the barns will be open so you can poke around for your treasures. Fair warning though - Frigid temperatures have prevented me from attempting to tidy them up.
