And last night, a handful of powerful women were honored at the 4th Annual WEEN Awards held at New York’s Helen Mills event space, sponsored by Carols Daughter. Over 300 guests filled the room to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of a group of women in their respective industries. The seven honorees included: Carol’s Daughter founder/CEO Lisa Price, hip-hop icon MC Lyte, R&B singer Sevyn Streeter, radio personality Angela Yee, fitness mogul Jeanette Jenkins, financial expert Lynn Richardson and filmmaker/artist Vashtie Kola. Stacey Dash defends Bill Cosby Veteran comedian Bill Cosby has easily been having the worst month ever as more and more women continue to come forward with accusations that he raped them at some point over the course of his career. Following the latest round of accusations, actress turned clueless Republican ride-or-die Stacey Dash jumped in on Twitter to share her experience while working with Cosby and insisted that it was a far cry from the other women’s encounters: Tracy Morgan: Never The Same Again Tracy Morgan is fighting to recover from a severe brain injury suffered in a highway crash more than five months ago, and it’s unknown if the actor-comedian will be “the Tracy Morgan he once was,” his lawyer said Benedict Morelli said the former Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star suffered a traumatic brain injury in the June 7 crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, in addition to a broken leg, nose and ribs. He’s fighting to get better, and if there’s a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he’s going to try to do that,” Morelli said. A Walmart truck slammed into the back of a limo van that was carrying Morgan and several friends on their way back from a show in Delaware.
