Just in case you were wondering, AB 1014 (the bill that allows police to confiscate guns based on an anonymous source tipping them off that an individual may be a threat) has been slightly amended. its still a god awful infringement on the 4th amendment but at least if/when it passes it will be less likely to be abused.
