Just in from headquarters! Frostival 5k The 2nd annual Frostival 5k starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 25 (TOMORROW). Last I heard, race director Sean Murphy (a/k/a CVRs Best New Race Director for 2013) is looking for two more volunteers to help out on the course. E-mail Sean at Motomurphy@gmail if you are willing and able to do so. Registration begins at 7:45 am in the vestry of the Unitarian Church in Montpelier (corner of Main St and School St) and ends at 8:45 am. The entry fee is $5. (You know you love $5 races!) Information is available here: cvrunners.org/frostival/index.html And, yes, there does happen to be a pancake breakfast available on-site if you manage to work up an appetite. The race course is amazingly flat for these parts. The only hill is the little bump going up Court St and down Governor Davis...outbound and return.
