Just landed in AKL finally, great flight with a nice upgrade. Looking forward to my pit after 23 days away. I am sure most will remember and like this iconic NZ song - Reason I have it here is that I met Malcolm Black, NDTs lead singer at SFO airport and had a good yarn with him, lovely bloke. He is a lawyer for Les Mills Music Publishing and also manager of Neil Finn and Crowded House - Ex Dunedin lad and I remember watching them live at OBHS Auditorium - I had to apologise for destroying his song at our Victoria Road flat, usually half pissed singing it in between Jimmy Barnes songs with Greg Johnson and the cricket boys. He was well amused. Anyway - Looking forward to seeing dog, giving the missus a cuddle and self defence with Thomas. Loved the US, can recommend to anyone, cannot be bored with the place! Thanks Steve Ardagh for the company and laughs and for sharing a fair few beers.
