Just last week, Xiaomi kicked LG off the list of top smartphone - TopicsExpress

Just last week, Xiaomi kicked LG off the list of top smartphone manufacturers as it took fifth place for itself. And more than once, it’s managed to sell out of its Mi3 handset in record time. Clearly, it’s doing something right amidst all the controversy it’s leaving in its wake. The question now is, can its newest handset, the Mi4, compete with what many have declared the best smartphone of the year thus far, LG’s G3? With the G3, LG has managed to woo tons of consumers. The 5.5-inch QHD display is packed into a remarkably small package, the LG UI is actually a pleasure to use, and it’s just an all-around solid smartphone. Xiaomi, however, is built on the very same knack for quality as Apple (which is only part of the controversy the so-called “Apple of China” is causing). And in the Mi4, that penchant for build quality is apparent. It’s one of the most solid pieces of hardware we’ve used, and its comes with very similar specifications as LG’s G3, only for a fraction of the price. I won’t tell you how this one pans out – you’ll have to check out the Xiaomi Mi4 vs LG G3 video below to see for yourself. But I will say it was far closer than we expected in the beginning.
