Just learned something about this good old liberal state we live in. Strange things have been going on at the house across the street for a long time. The residents abruptly moved out last year, some of their friends moved in, then out. A few weeks ago some new folks showed up. Cars, a boat, lots of people. Up in the early hours of the morning. Never any activity during the daylight hours. Ive called the police twice this week for loud yelling, fighting, cars driving fast, swerving and honking and revving of motors. Come home today to find out there are squatters in the home. AND, the homeowners or sheriff cant do anything about it because theyve taken up residence for a certain number of hours. Apparently in Washington there is some law that protects them. On top of that, they ran the plates of the car hidden and its registered to a fugitive with a record that includes arms charges. WTF??? Makes me feel really safe!
