Just learned the movie industry has lost an absolute legend over the weekend and one of my favourite directors, the man who brought us some of my favourite films; Smokey and the Bandit, Megaforce, Cannonball Run, Hooper, Stroker Ace, Cactus Jack and more, and was presented earlier this year with an honour Oscar by Quentin Tarantino for his contribution to the movie industry. Feeling very sad this morning. His films always cheer me up on a gloomy day. No matter how crummy things get Ill stick on Smokey and the Bandit or Megaforce and be smiling inside a minute.So thank you sir for all the smiles and laughter over the years. R.I.P. Hal Needham.
