Just look at our handsome Rolo, he is now 9 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to find a VERY special home of his own. Rolo came to us around 3 months ago with badly deformed, very painful legs, he had many consultations with our vets and lots of xrays and final had major surgery on his front leg to ease the pressure on his displaced elbows and deformed wrist joints. His recovery has taken time but his legs are now so much straighter and he is off all of his pain relief. He still has a little way to go but the consultant is so pleased with his progress she is very hopeful that he just continue to go from strength to strength. Rolo still cant walk very far although we have been building this up gradually, he gets tired easily and will stop for a little rest. He walks lovely on the lead though. There is a chance that Rolo may need some further surgery on his wrist joint in the future which we will work with new owners and our orthopaedic specialist. Rolo is an absolutely adorable boy, everyone who meets him falls in love with him and his funny little ways. He absolutely loves other dogs and he MUST live with another neutered, friendly playful dog in his new home. He is fine to be left alone for a few hour a day and he loves children, he is also good with cats. Rolos only slight issue is that he is a little possessive with food and other treats around other dogs but this is easily managed. This boy is looking for a very special family who can continue with his rehabilitation and offer him all the love and attention he deserves for the rest of his life, after all this lad has been through its imperative this next move is to his forever home and that his new people are totally committed to him. Rolo is being fostered in Northampton, we would prefer a home as close to us as possible or as long as someone is prepared to return him to Northamptonshire to see our specialist vet if needed in the future.
