Post From Save Our Space Camp: The Save our Space Camp Parent group and St. Albert Public Schools District met on Monday, May 26th to decide what to do with the excess money ($21 892.19) that remained after Space Camp was fully paid. We are thrilled to announce the creation of the Space Camp 2014 Legacy Fund, to be managed through the St. Albert Community Foundation. We have unanimously chosen 5 charities to receive money each year: 1) St. Albert Food Bank 2) Stop Abuse in Families Society(SAIF) 3) St. Albert Family Resource Centre 4) Kids Help Line 5) Breakfast for Learning (St. Albert to be specified) This fund will continue to grow forever and will benefit many children for years to come!
