Just musing - I appreciate all the attention that depression and mental illness have received due to the sad fact of Robin Williams death. I was just thinking, when the next news item comes along, and peoples attention will be shifted elsewhere, those of us who deal with these issues on a daily basis will still be here. For us, its not a cause of the moment. I would like to thank those who know me and understand me somewhat for your kindness and patience. Its nice to know I dont have to hide who I am. I would hope that people remember, in dealings with others, that everyone hurts in one way or another. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
