Just notified that I need 5 CEUs to renew my usa cycling race directors license. Two of the classes cost $14.99 each, two are free, and one can be from an outside source. The email actually said one course was $11 and the other were free but the website didnt match. More fees, more overhead, and more red tap to organize bicycle races. All events are required to be organized by a certified race organizer. Maybe it would be easier to have OBRA races in the south sound and sell $5 one day licenses to everyone.
