Just now came out of a farewell event. Our BBMP ( Rajajinagar) Engineering Department Works Inspector Puttarangappa retired after 34 years of service. I know this committed worker for the last 31 years. Always ready to undertake any challenging work, his farewell was attended by the whole team of Rajajinagar BBMP. He was the First Corporation employee, I met 31 years ago. Like that adage an old Compounder is better than a new Doctor this Engineering Gangman was better than most of the Engineers. I wish a peaceful Post retirement life. As I said in the function, Puttarangppa is Retired because of service rules, but he is not tired as he still enthusiastic.
