Just one more. So I did it. Hand steady, fixed gaze, I submerged it with false conviction. I felt for the first time that I was truly living in a moment, but then it all changed. A weightlessness in my grip, a rush of blood to the head. My heart raced as a hollow dread washed over me in waves. Where was the biscuit? It had broken. The Yo-Yo had succumbed to inevitability. One more dunk in the coffee as I snatched at the ticket to heaven, and now I only know loss.
