Just over 24 hours until the opening of Kosovo’s top cultural event, DokuFest! The U.S. Embassy has supported DokuFest often during its 13-year history, but this year is special. In cooperation with the University of Southern California and DokuFest’s Focus: America program, we proudly bring you the American Film Showcase, a program of 15 award-winning American documentaries on diversity and civil society. The American Film Showcase will include vists from David France, who was nominated for an Academy award for his documentary How To Survive a Plague, and Claire Aguilar, a film curator, editor, and media programmer who has 20 years of experience working in public media. David and Claire will hold a series of workshops, master classes, Q&As, and interviews during DokuFest.
