Just over a week ago we were informed about a pregnant Dalmatian in Paarl that needed a new home as her owners no longer wanted her. We received photos (see first pic) of this girl, Tessa, and started networking on FB to find her a home urgently. What we found on Saturday, when we collected her, was a dreadful sight! A sad, depressed, abused and malnourished dog that had no life in her eyes! She had no pups when we got her, but had clearly been used for breeding and must have had countless litters. She has scars and open wounds on her face and forehead from possibly being beaten with a hard object and she was tick infested! I cried SO many tears for this girl but now we are ONLY crying happy tears, as she is being sterilised today and have been ADOPTED already!! She is a very special soul and although she has been to hell and back, she now has a perfect life to look forward to with the Green family. Thank you Jane Adams, Ria Oberholzer and Stephne Jackson for all your help in getting Tessa safe and on her way to a happy future. We love you, Tessa, and we are so excited about being part of your journey to recovery. You will never ever have to suffer again!
