Just put together 3 pages of info on hard body fishing for a mate. Its only taken 6 hours but i finished it off with 10 things to remember. Thought id share as they apply to fishing in general. 1. Bigger lures doesnt always mean bigger fish 2. Count your pauses. 10 seconds is a long time to wait when your waiting for a strike 3. Adapt: if you always do what youve always done, youll always get what youve already got 4. Just because a style works for your fishing buddy doesnt mean it will work for you. Try something different. 5. Dont rely on one lure to get the job done, theres nothing worse than losing your favorite lure and watching everyone else catching fish while your not 6. If your fishing snags, throw it like you want to lose it. If you arent prepared to cast deep enough that your risking getting snagged, your not casting deep enough. 7. If your fishing flats, watch where your shadow falls, big fish will spook at it 8. Look at the teeth of the bream you are catching. It will help you decide what they are feeding on 9. Be prepared to push your limits. An extra cast, a lighter lb leader or even casting a little deeper will make a difference. Without risk there is no reward 10. Dont forget its fishing, your only competition is the clock and work starting :p
