Just read an article that Ill post a link to, but Id like to stimulate some conversation and not just have people read an article. Id really appreciate some of my NON-Christian friends and family to at least watch the video and give their honest opinions of whether or not the see Christians as Christ FOLLOWERS or Christ fans (taken from Bill Maher). So here are a few quotes from the article: In order to maintain a vibrant and living faith, we must not make the Bible our substitute for communion with the living Word of God. Studying Scripture is valuable, but nowhere near as valuable as cultivating a day to day relationship with the God incarnate. Christ is in the business of restoring humanity to the most broken and wicked of people (context: not condemning them). What the Church as a whole and Evangelicals in particular desperately need in this age is a return to the plain teachings of Jesus.
