They will have been assessed in their shooting ability and recruited accordingly. Those of you that were in favour of the ban on fox hunting were effectively supporting a cull of foxes by shooting which are being shot by unlicenced and generally less proficient shooters than are being employed to cull the badgers, please try and keep arguments consistent. One of the side effects of the cull will be a population of badgers that are disease free and can then co-exist with the farming without the current infection problems.
