Just realized the date, its the day my dad crossed over. So today I will think of him and celebrate his life, he served his country at a very young age, got married and had 7 children, started is own landscaping business and was very involved in our community, he was the Inspector of Civil Defense, a deputy sheriff, the head usher at our church, and a member of so many clubs! He took time to chaperone a field trip with my 6th grade class. He helped anyone who needed it. I invited a homeless/traveling couple I had met at the bar the night before to come to my parents house for a shower the next day, my dad not only gave the guy clothes but slipped him some cash too, its the kind of person he was. That is just one of the many stories i can tell about his kindness. Looking at this I realize where I get my crazy life from! He could clear the dance floor at any event while dancing with my mom, they were that good! And even tho he had a dark side and lost his temper a lot, he led an amazing life. I know he is dancing and fishing away on the other side! I learned so much from my Dad and love him very much. Until we meet again, I will be missing you!
