Just received a call from a gentleman who is an Army veteran. He moved here to start over and the housing he had lined up fell through. He has been living in the desert off of Highway 87 for the past week. He had a job interview yesterday, but without a place to live he is at a loss of what to do with the dogs while he works to get them back on their feet. He has a 6 year old spayed Hound mix and a 1 year old male un-neutered Pit mix. They are good with people, no on cats, and only do well with larger dogs. These dogs are at a high risk of being surrendered if a solution cannot be found and he does not want to lose them. I turn to you all for help in finding a foster home or raising money for boarding to help this veteran. AZK9 will cover expenses of food and supplies and get the male neutered.
