Just received a request for a price from a company I do not know - Language Link Plus, based in Slough. I have quoted a fair price and requested a deposit being the equivalent of 50% of the estimated word count, given that they are unknown to me. I shall check out their website and also Duedil to see what may be gleaned, but frankly I expect I will be too expensive. Its a complex legal document though, and not most peoples cup of tea, since terminology has to be consistent (you know the story...) Is it reasonable of me to ask for a deposit?
