Just received the below email from Fingal County Council requesting candidate posters be taken down on the Giro d’ Italia route, I hope everyone complies. Do some candidates really believe a poster on every pole will get them elected. If they can waste money at this stage they shouldnt be allowed manage yours! Dear Candidate, By now I am sure you are all aware of the arrival of the Giro d’ Italia, in line with all other local authorities on both side of the border I would like to request that you temporally remove your election posters along the route. The Giro d’ Italia arrives on Sunday 11th May and it is a fantastic way to promote Fingal. Attached is the leaflet that will be distributed to over 35,000 homes next week. Posters can be re installed Sunday after 5pm. You cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated
