Just remember: If you hope that my employer goes out of business just because some people had to work on this day, then youre hoping that I lose my job. In an economy that has such high unemployment, we cant afford to look at available employment with such disdain. I was fortunate that I didnt have to work today (and it would have sucked if I had to), but I am thankful for gainful employment. I like to eat all year long, not just on one day of the year. Companies making money is how theyre able to employ people. I find it interesting that people accuse retailers of greed, but hose same people dont recognize their own personal greed by demanding employers pay them more. They cant pay you more if they dont make more...thats how it works. Working on Thanksgiving Day sucks...not having a job at all sucks even more.
