Just remember that this is just one of the misinformed, anti-science guys who the GOP chose to put on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology and some science subcommittees! It hasnt happened yet after all of their ridiculous crap and it isnt going to happen now. The media and the voting public have proven themselves too lazy and care free to actually hold them to account and vote those Republican congressional bums out and make them pay the price they should pay for their idiotic behavior and rhetoric. The Republicans are going to take the US Senate this year and keep the House and then things will be WAY more crappy. We get the government we deserve, good or bad, based upon our willingness to stand up and engage and be involved or based upon our willingness to just let things slide.
