Just returned from Kaiser in Fontana with Heather R. Stephens to say goodbye to our friend Clark Riddell.. He was surrounded by friends and family, and he looked comfortable. They said he was unresponsive, but I saw him react to people when they would lean in and speak to him. I kissed his forehead and told him Mickey was waiting to show him the sights, and he stirred a bit. He moved when Heather talked to him as well.. Im convinced he felt the love in the room, and boy, it was overflowing… Lord, it is so hard to have faith in your plans for us when things go this way.. But these are the times our faith must be the strongest. Im not certain when they are taking him off life support, but Heather and I were so grateful we got the chance to tell him we loved him. Blessings to his wonderful family, all of whom, though they didnt know us, welcomed us with open arms, and wanted all of Clarks theater family to know just how deeply he cherished us all… God bless you, brother.. until we meet again… And blessings to the Cabanillas after the loss of dear grammy… We have taken some hard blows of late…time to band together for the summer and love one another like we never have before… :) :)
