Just returned from an excellent expedition from Similipal National Park and Tiger Reserve. You will be wondered with the beauty of nature here inside the deep forest. No road, no electricity, no moblie phone, no more modern amenity. We visited Asthakuar G.P and Gurgudia G.P of Jashipur, Mayurbhanj. These G.Ps are in dense forest of Similipal National Park and Tiger Reserve.You can see dense forest, wild life including Royal Bengal Tiger, fountains, rivers and many more here. You can see a Saal Tree of more than 350 years, Champa Tree of more than 300 years. You can enjoy the bits of Changu baja which is a local cultural equipment of Tribal population. You can not believe that there is human population living with wild life. School opens once or twice a month, it is very difficult to access govt schemes. Malaria is main killer sickness here. This is really Bharat not shining India. Really a challenging task to bring a visible changes. Gram Vikas, District administration of Mayurbhanj and STR have jointly started project Ulgulan to initiate little change and Myself and Jagadish have taken challenges to pursue it.
