Just returned from the doctors office where I received my pathology report from my prostate surgery. The cancer was confined to the prostate gland and did not spread to any lymph nodes or surrounding tissue. I am cancer free. To all my male friends: Please, if you are over 40, get a blood test every year to measure your PSA. From my initial diagnosis to today was about 3 months. It can save and extend your life so you can enjoy your friends and family for years come. My medical prediction is that there is a 96% I will be cancer free for the next ten years. Also, many many thanks for all your prayers, e-mails, phone calls and cards. It really meant so very much to me and really helped me cope with daily recovery.
