Just returned home from a trip to Brisbane. Jenny Ferry and I hit - TopicsExpress

Just returned home from a trip to Brisbane. Jenny Ferry and I hit the big smoke for a course for work. We did laps around the city trying to find parking. We missed turn offs because we were to busy talking. We stayed in a butterbox, where you had to side saddle the toilet. The room had added conveniences, such as if you passed out on the toilet you could rest you head on a rack of towels for comfort. The bed rolled across the floor for easier access to the bed side table. The hallways zigzagged, yet had ample signage to find the lifts. Each time we got in the lift we met a new foreign visitor which included interesting conversation. There was the perfect little restaurant on ground floor. A different meal special every night $16, also a Breakfast menu selection $10. A short walk to our course of 150 metres. A perfect spot, clean, modern and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay at the George William Hotel again. The Respiratory course was excellent by Rob Timmings. Whether we remember it all tomorrow, doesnt matter. We had a good few days with lots of laughs. And to top it off we came home with a old cement mixer and a car full of plants. oh and not to forget to mention some new shoes.
