Just saw the trailer for the new Mad Max movie. Cmon man. Appears to me as if these producers and directors are feeding us recycled garbage. For anybody who actually remembers the original MAD MAX (as i do vividly) it was a classic, and from the preview, this new version seems as if itll do nothing except what every other modern remake does, make it bigger and with greater special effects. Lets hope there is more than the preview alludes to, which looks as if its for the simple minded. Not that Gibson was Hamlet in the first one, but if they wanted to do a new version they could put some thought into it, tell more of a prelude and develop the characters. But no, gimme your 10 bucks, watch some fast cars and explosions and we will catch you for the sequel in 8 months. AKA Dumb it down. I hope Im wrong.
