Just sharing..... Towering above the roof line of houses on Scout Fernandez, and visible from as far as Tomas Morato and Timog, is the imposing statue of Regina Rosarii, Our Lady in the City. It sits atop the Regina Rosarii Center for Contemplative Prayer which also serves as the residence of the Dominican Sisters of the Regina Rosarii. Founded by former members of the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary of the Philippines, the congregation was formally recognized in December 2005 by the bishop of the diocese of Cubao. Sisters of the congregation are called “to be contemplative witnesses, following Jesus, Friend of the Poor and Healer of the Broken.” The sisters’ ministry consist of conducting retreats, recollections and seminars; accompanying groups in contemplative prayer and devotion to Mary, Regina Rosarii; broadcasting through radio and other modern media of communication and serving in socio-pastoral work.
