Just spent 3 fun days with my new friends Russell and Julie Beydler hunting Turkey in Kansas. Julie and I put on the ninja sneak of all time on a Tom and two hens only belly crawling when the thunder was crashing to find over the ledge, no Turkey! We also cut off a flock Rambo style and with 1 minute and change left of legal shooting light I looked up and OH #$&% SHOOT THE ONE ON THE LEFT! Tommy heard what I said and somehow dodged hundreds of pellets, Im sure hes still shaking and probably lives in Missouri now. Well see you here in a few weeks Julie, hopefully the Turkey rut is what it normally is and we can call one in the good old fashioned way. Ill make sure to have Ham sandwiches ready a couple hours before loading into the blind. Thanks for everything! Tim
