Just spoke to my mom ... She was out of breath and sounded rushed. I asked her if she was ok.. Her reply " yes.. I was working in the garden, planting... I picked some vegetables" ..... My reply... "Keep an eye on the temperature and DRINK DRINK.. You cannot stay out in the sun all day.. And do you have a hat on?".... Guess what ? She did not.. GRRR after all the conversations on heat stroke... Her daily routine .. Get up.. Eat breakfast go outside when the sun comes up... Work all day in the heat ( because she is healthy and loves to have a beautiful yard and she thinks that GOD is pleased with her efforts .) Get nagged at by her son because she either A) she forgot to eat lunch B) she is not drinking enough C) she did not have a hat on ... It is the kind of life we should all have when we are 77 years old...Healthy, happy, loved and able.
