Just the briefest of responses to a local artist and poet who has launched a lengthy attack on me. As you will doubtless be aware I am, at least, the fifth local musician to have been attacked in this way. You will not be surprised to learn that the facts as stated in this vitriolic message have been twisted and conflated to produce a somewhat skewed version of what I recall as reality. What I find most unpardonable is posting my whole private and personal Facebook message history with her publicly ... I have requested that this status been taken down and I have reluctantly unfriended her ... which is something I seldom do. I would suggest that to ignore such messages in future is the best strategy and I trust that this persons credibility will continue to fall as she inevitably goes on to attack other genuine and caring people in our local musical community in a similarly cruel manner..
